YMCA Camp MacLean is available for church groups, scouting activities, business retreats/conferences and YMCA guide/princess campouts. Camp MacLean is a good place for your group to get outdoors and create experiences that will benefit them long after leaving camp. Our goal is to tailor make a program that fits the needs of your group. We offer a variety of activities and services for your group campout/retreat:

  • Accomodations for up to 250 people
  • Complete food service
  • Private meeting space
  • Activities that include: archery, boating/canoeing, climbing tower, arts/crafts, fishing, nature trails, campfires, tobogganing (winter), ice skating (winter) and much more.
  • Team challenge course and high ropes course
  • Select audio/visual equipment for meetings
  • Flexibility with schedule

Reservation Policy for group campouts:

For more information or to reserve camp for a group outing please contact a program director at our office (262) 763-7742. We will work to tailor make your program. Groups can reserve dates from late August through early June. Summer rentals are available on a limited basis, Minimums vary from 20-100 depending upon the time of year. Deposits are required and are applied to the total camp fee.

Outdoor Education Rates

(Effective from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008; All rates are subject to change without notice*)

School Groups/Outdoor Education/High School Retreats

Overnight Trip:
$19.35 per night per person. If the stay is more than one night the cost is $18.85 per night per person. Meals are $7.35 per person per meal. Minimum # of participants required vary based upon the length of stay and the time of year. Fee includes lodging, environmental and team challenge activities, two camp instructors, camp facilities, and complete meal service.

Day Trip:
A day-long outing (maximum 12 hours) is $18.65 per student and includes one complete meal. Additional meals can be provided at $7.35 per person per meal. Adults/Chaperons are charged $7.35 per person and includes one meal. If the group decides to decline meal service the cost will be $15.00 per student.

Additional Staffing:
All trips include two camp instructors. A third instructor can be added for an additional cost of $67 per day and is subject to availability.

Deposit Policy:
All rental groups must submit a non-refundable deposit with their signed contract. Once a group is established the deposit may be waived. All deposits are applied to the total fee. Cancellation policies are outlined in the group contract. All groups are subject to the cancellation policies.

The following activities can be added in addition to the base program rates:

High Ropes Courses/Climbing Tower/Ziplines (price may be reduced if additional staff is not needed)

Tower Complex    $87.00 per day
Tandem High Course    $87.00 per day
Forest High Course    $87.00 per day
Forest Zipline    $87.00 per day

$1.25 charge per participant per high ropes activity class/course (Daily fee)
